Material container MIRG.NL Ship Firefighting Safety Region Rotterdam Rijnmond

MIRG.NL is a partnership between the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, Rijkswaterstaat, Coastguard Netherlands, Marine Fire Brigade, Rotterdam-Rijnmond Safety Region (VRR), Joint Fire Brigade (GB) and the Port of Rotterdam Authority (HbR).

The objective of the MIRG.NL team is to prevent the evacuation of passengers/crew in the event of a fire on board a ship in the North Sea and also to prevent escalation for the purpose of environmental incidents and blocking shipping.

On behalf of MIRG.NL, BMT has delivered a custom-made material container with workshop space.
