One Seven CAFS & High Voltage
For use in voltage-containing installations up to 100,000 VoltOne Seven CAFS & High Voltage
The energy transition is in full swing, with electricity playing an increasingly important role. Among other things, the number of solar panels on houses and buildings is growing rapidly, as is the amount of electric cars, buses and trucks, but also, for example, the joint storage of electricity, as well as the number of wind turbines. As a result, the number of incidents involving electricity will inevitably increase drastically. In the event of an incident, this may involve an entirely new way of deployment by the fire brigade. It is good to know that One Seven compressed air foam has been officially tested and certified for use in voltage-containing installations up to 100,000 Volt (see video and certificate).
This means that transformers and other electrical installations can be extremely well protected by a stationary One Seven compressed air foam system, but it is just as important that with One Seven (dry foam) it is possible to have such fires extinguished by firefighters without letting them take unnecessary extra risks.
