One seven foaming agents
For Class A & B FiresOne Seven technology features its own entirely unique types of “synthetic” foam forming agents, which differ significantly from conventional foams. The exceptional composition and high performance of One Seven foams, which meet the standard classification for fire classes A and B, are made possible by an optimal interaction between the One Seven foam generating systems and the chemical properties of the One Seven foaming agent. This precise balance ensures that the firefighting effectiveness of the foam extinguishing agent is always realized, at the appropriate low proportioning rates.
All One Seven foam agents are designed with human safety and environmental friendliness in mind; after all, they should not pose a hazard when in contact with skin and/or eyes. In particular, the Class B (FF) foaming agents introduce a new generation of firefighting foams, free of fluorinated components, without any loss of performance. They are certified as fully biodegradable within 14 days, minimizing the burden on humans and the environment.
One Seven Class A Fluorine Free
OS Class A (FF) foaming agent is optimized for strong adhesion and increased penetration, allowing better penetration into all Class A fuels. It is used in the amazingly low proportioning rate of only 0.3%. The product is fluorine free and completely biodegradable.
One Seven Class B Fluorine Free
Class B (FF) Fluorine Free Foaming Agent. This is the only fluorine-free foaming agent on the market, which is not based on polymers and has a European approval for indirect and direct application (Performance Class I/B according to EN 1568-3). It is applied at a proportioning rate of 1.0% during the extinguishment of hydrocarbon fires.
One Seven Class B-AR (AFFF) Alcohol Resistant
Class B-AR (AFFF) alcohol resistant foaming agent that has also been made suitable for use with polar substances, but at an admixture rate of 0.6%, whereby this foaming agent creates a strong foam layer on hydrocarbons and on liquids containing alcohol. It is approved in Europe (Performance Class I/B according to EN 1568-3 and EN 1568-4).
One Seven Class B (AFFF)
OS Class B (AFFF) film-forming fluorinated foaming agent used in a proportioning rate of only 0.5%. The foam spreads rapidly over the surface of hydrocarbon-based fluids to form a strong and homogeneous foam carpet to extinguish the fire and prevent evaporation of the fuel. European approval performance class I/A according to EN 1568-3 and in the US (FM 5130).
